Man killed in Vaughan industrial accident

A truck driver was killed in an industrial accident in Vaughan on Friday morning.

It happened around 7 a.m. on Doney Crescent, near Highway 7 and Keele Street.

York Regional Police said the man, Deodat Khemraj, was crushed between two trucks.

“We’re a very close-knit family,” said Khemraj’s brother Herdat Khemraj.

“I love my brother dearly and it’s sad to see that he’s got to go this way. I’ve just got to try and put my family together.”
