Toronto man charged in human trafficking investigation

Toronto police, with the help of London investigators, have arrested and charged a 35-year-old Toronto man with various charges related to a human trafficking investigation.

Police allege a 22-year-old woman was recruited, taken to a Toronto hotel and procured to become a prostitute.

Shaun Butler faces numerous charges including procuring a person to be a prostitute, uttering a death threat and aggravated assault.

Police are concerned there may be more victims.
