Toronto police are trying to identify a man whose remains were found in the Port Lands district last spring.
The body was inside a Coleman tent on Unwin Avenue, near Cherry Street, around 1 p.m. on May 13, 2014.
Police said it appeared the man had been dead for some time, but deemed the death not suspicious.
The man did not have any identification on him.
Based on a profile created by a forensic pathologist, the man is believed to be black, 32 to 54 years old, between five-foot-10 and six-foot-four, with short, curly, black hair and he was wearing a Tyvek disposable suit.
A Neil Young T-shirt, blue jeans, a black belt with an embossed design, grey flip-flops and some personal hygiene items were found inside the tent.
Anyone with information on the man’s identity is asked to call police at 416-808-5104.
