It’s the news we were hoping we wouldn’t hear.
After taking a hit to the head in Game 3, Sidney Crosby has been diagnosed with a concussion, per head coach Mike Sullivan. He will miss Game 4.
The head coach also announced that Conor Sheary has a concussion.
Crosby was injured as was checked in the head by Capitals defenceman Matt Niskanen in front of Washington’s net. Crosby had fallen to his knees as Niskanen caught him with a cross-check.
