Shot fired in Burlington motel parking lot; man in custody

Halton regional police have one man in custody after a shooting in a motel parking lot in Burlington.
A single gunshot was fired at two people inside a vehicle, police said. It happened at the Motel 6 on North Service Road near Heritage Road around 11 a.m. on Tuesday.
They say the suspect, believed to be a lone male, and the victims left the scene in separate vehicles. The victims’ vehicle was later found at another scene. The suspect was arrested in Hamilton around 4:30 p.m.
No one was injured and it’s believed the shooting was targeted.
