An Ohio waitress’s stolen ID turned up in the strangest place – her hands.
The Westlake, Ohio bar server had asked a woman for ID while working and the driver’s licence handed to her was her own – which she’d reported missing weeks ago.
Local police captain Guy Turner said the odds of something like that happening defy calculation. They’re not releasing the waitress’s name, but they are letting people know the suspect’s name.
Maria Bergan was charged with identity theft, receiving stolen property, and extraordinarily bad luck.
