Can The Terminator play ping pong?
That’s what 80-year-old table tennis champ Byng Forsberg plans to find out, when he takes on California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger in a game. But Forsberg, who’s won practically every trophy available for his age category, says the Governator had better practice because he’s taking no mercy.
The retired owner of a pest control company received a fundraising letter from the Schwarzenegger re-election campaign and he said he’d only donate if the governor played him.
The star of the Terminator and Conan the Barbarian films accepted – although a spokesperson for his campaign said they might have to have a weightlifting contest afterward in order for the governor to have a better chance at winning.
And though he may lose the ping pong battle, that campaign donation may go some distance in winning the re-election war.
