Hunt On For Groper Who Attacked 13-Year-Old Boy

He looks like a grandfather.

But police contend he’s really a predator.

They believe this likeness is the closet they’ve come to describing a suspect who brazenly molested a 13-year-old boy in broad daylight on Sunday.

The youngster was walking along Danforth Ave. with his family around 6pm, when a man walked towards him. He apparently deliberately bumped into the child, trying to make it look like an accident.

But what happened next proved it wasn’t.

As the startled child recovered from the bump, the man reached over and unexpectedly grabbed his groin, then repeated the ‘accident’ a second time.

As the teen figured out what was happening, he shoved the man’s arm away and both parties continued to walk away from the scene.

By the time the youngster reported the incident his assailant was gone.

But not forgotten. A lot of people got a good look at the man and they were able to give a sketch artist a good description. He’s believed to be:

  • White,
  • 50-60,
  • 5’8″,
  • 200 lbs.,
  • Large build,
  • Light blonde/reddish thinning hair with a bald spot at the back of head.

Cops are worried others may have been similarly assaulted and are asking them to call in. In the meantime, keep a wary eye out for this predator.

If you see him or know who he is, call (416) 808-5505, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at (416) 222-TIPS.
