Cruise and Holmes Set Wedding Date

More than a year after they first became engaged, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have finally set a wedding date.
The couple will marry in Italy on November 18, exactly seven months after the birth of their baby girl Suri Cruise.
The actor’s representative Arnold Robinson confirmed the date to the media Tuesday.
Robinson also said that Holmes would wear a wedding dress designed by Giorgio Armani.
The 44-year-old Mission: Impossible star declared his love for the 27-year-old Dawson’s Creek cutie in a much-publicized appearance on the Oprah Winfrey show.
Shortly thereafter, in June of 2005, the two became engaged in France after Cruise popped the question atop the Eiffel Tower.
But before they set a wedding date, they announced to the world that they were going to have a baby.
Their daughter Suri was born in April but the first public pictures of her were released only last month in a Vanity Fair spread. The magazine’s cover was a shot of a dark-haired Suri peeking out of a jacket worn by Cruise as Holmes looked on.
It’s the first marriage for Holmes, who was previously engaged to American Pie star Chris Klein.
Cruise has been wed twice before – to Mimi Rogers and Nicole Kidman. He also dated his Vanilla Sky co-star Penelope Cruz before falling for Holmes.
