How You Can Help Set A New Guinness World Record

Ever wanted to get into the Guinness Book of World Records, but didn’t want to grow your fingernails down the block or eat six hundred helpings of scorpions?

Well, now you can and you won’t have to completely embarrass yourself – or do it alone.

The only real requirement is to be supple enough to repeatedly kick your legs and have a willingness to get up a bit early before going to work.

Breakfast Television is teaming with the world famous Radio City Rockettes on Thursday to try and set the planetary mark for the longest single group of line dancers in the history of mankind.

O.K., so it’s not a cure for a major disease. But it certainly sounds like fun.

“We need over 1,151 people,” BT co-host Dina Pugliese explains. “I have a goal of 4,000!”

The record breaking attempt goes at the Hummingbird Centre Thursday at 8am.

“Come to work half an hour early,” suggests main man Kevin Frankish. “We’re right at Yonge and Front. Easy to get to.”

And easy on the eyes. The actual Rockettes will also be there and are expected to be alive – and kicking.

“What a perfect opportunity to dance with the Radio City Rockettes doing what we’re known for, the famous kick line,” suggests Annie Gibbons-Syke, one of the leggy dancers.

If you can’t make it down, the entire event will be shown live on BT.

But if you do, they’ll make it worth your while and get you into the Christmas spirit at the same time.

Everyone who participates will get free tickets for The Radio City Rockettes Canadian debut at the Hummingbird Centre from November 14th to December 31st.

Even if you don’t exactly put your best foot forward.
