Supply Teacher Charged With Sexually Assaulting Student In Brampton

Peel Police have arrested 64-year-old Edgar Lieba, after an incident that allegedly happened on October 30th at Notre Dame Secondary School in Brampton.
Detectives accuse the instructor of taking over a grade nine class at the school and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl while the lessons were in progress.
Because the accused travelled to different campuses, police are worried that there may be other alleged victims who haven’t come forward. They’re asking students, parents or any other witnesses who have anything to tell them to call the Special Victims Unit at (905) 453-2121 ext. 3460.
Leiba is scheduled to appear in court on the charges on December 18th.
