Chris Bosh scored an impressive 21 points in just his second game back following a knee injury Friday night as the Toronto Raptors grounded the struggling Atlanta Hawks 105-92.
Bosh shot 8-for-11 from the floor in 33 minutes of playing time and was able to rest his still sore knee for most of the fourth quarter.
Bosh may have been back in action, but injuries are still a troublesome factor for the purple dinos. T.J. Ford, who missed his third game in a row with a sprained right ankle while Jorge Garbajosa, who was the Eastern Conference rookie of the month for December, sat out his second straight game with a calf injury.
The Raptors still made short work of the Hawks, with Toronto’s Joey Graham adding 19 points to tie his career high, and Morris Peterson chipping in with 16 points. The Raptors never trailed their impotent foes.
Jose Calderon had a season-high 12 assists.
Marvin Williams scored 24 points to lead the sagging Hawks (9-21), while Speedy Claxton added 18.
