Raptors Rough Up Rockets

The Toronto Raptors used pinpoint shooting accuracy in the first half to build an impressive 20-point lead over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.  

It was a lead they wouldn’t let go of, as they defeated the slumping Rockets 106-90.  

Andrea Bargnani continued to impress, scoring 20 points, while T.J. Ford and Kris Humphries added 16 points apiece.

Toronto has now won 10 of their last 13 games.

Tracy McGrady scored 22 points to lead Houston , which managed to pull within nine with 10 minutes to play.   The Raptors, however, responded with 10 straight points, and they didn’t look back.

In the end, they shot 57.1 per cent (44-of-77) after hitting 69 per cent (29-of-42) the first half.
