Nearly everyone’s happy about the fact that spring has finally sprung in the GTA.
The snow is mostly gone, the ice has melted, and there’s actually some green where your lawn is.
But this spring thaw comes with a price.
It’s uncovered all those sickening messes that the white flakes were covering up.
Every year, the city retreats from winter and runs straight into piles of garbage strewn in places it should never be – littered in parks, lurking behind stores and sitting silent in deserted back alleys.
And CityNews needs your help to spotlight the worst of the worst.
All this week we’ll be looking for the city’s trashiest traumas – the spots where garbage goes beyond just a little litter.
It could be a street corner. It could be somewhere in your neighbourhood. Or it could be in a place most people don’t ordinarily look.
