The Texas Rangers snapped a five-game losing skid on Friday night with a 7-1 win over the unpredictable Toronto Blue Jays.
Hank Blalock blasted a two-run homer and Brandon McCarthy pitched six sharp innings to lead the way for the Rangers.
McCarthy (2-4) gave up just one run and two hits with four walks.
Sal Fasano went deep for the Blue Jays, who’ve now dropped four in a row, including 14 of their last 17 in Arlington .
