Another Fatal Stabbing On City Streets

Police are searching for suspects following the second fatal stabbing in two days.
The victim, a man in his 20’s, suffered devastating injuries in the overnight attack. Toronto officers with 22 Division found him in a park on Friendly Dr., near Bloor St. and the East Mall.
Paramedics tried to revive him but he was pronounced dead at hospital.
There’s no word on suspects or a motive for the crime.
Meanwhile, homicide investigators arrested a 35-year-old suspect in connection with Wednesday’s fatal stabbing of Engin Yilmaz. Yilmaz, who moved to Canada from Turkey in recent years, was found knifed to death in the parking lot of an apartment building on Milepost Pl. in Toronto.
Hikmet Dasdemir later turned himself in to police at 53 Division and has since been charged with second degree murder in the case.
