Pedophile Suspect’s MySpace Page Now Fraught With Double Meanings

It’s hard to say what the MySpace page put up by Christopher Paul Neil says about the Canadian pedophile suspect. But knowing what authorities allege he did, it’s easy to read all kinds of interpretations into what’s displayed there.
“Loving Asia,” he claims right at the top, noting he’s an Aquarius. “Will I ever go home?” He will if authorities catch him. There’s not much text on the page and only a little note from the Canadian abroad, in which he waxes poetic about how he loves being away from home. He also says he’s been “finding other forms of mischief” on his journey, another phrase that takes on a possible double meaning if what police claim about him is true.
“Been kicking around Asia for the past five years, teaching mainly and finding other forms of mischief,” he writes. “I like writing and am currently trying my hand at poetry … I want to get better. I love teaching, can’t get enough of it really.” He adds that he enjoys drama and singing, referring to a Korean place he likes to go to croon a tune. “Can’t say I sound very good but it’s all fun,” he concludes.
In one his blogs, posted in 2005, Neil tries his hand at that poetry, and it too takes on an ominous meaning in light of the latest revelations.
“Look at street sign love
And that way lust
Not knowing
Which one I was longing for.”
Neil’s page also features what appears to be one his favourite songs: “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” by Green Day.
But of all the details on the page, perhaps one stands out the most. After listing his height and weight, his background as a college graduate and his occupation as a teacher, Neil filled out this under the listing that simply says children: “undecided,” he wrote.
The page has since been deleted.
