Have A Cow

It would be fine to tell Charles and Linda Everson not to “have a cow” after their minivan was struck by a falling object on Sunday, but in reality that’s exactly what they did have.
The Michigan couple was visiting Washington state and was driving back to their hotel when a 270-kilogram cow landed on their vehicle.
Amazingly, the Eversons were unhurt but the cow, which had fallen off a cliff. Unfortunately the cow couldn’t say the same thing, and had to be euthanized.
Still it’s a miraculous story, since the animal plunged 60 metres from the cliff and landed on the hood of the couple’s minivan, crushing it instantly.
Chelan County fire chief, Arnold Baker, said the couple missed being killed by a matter of centimeters. They made the trip as part of a first wedding anniversary celebration, much of which they spent at Lake Chelan Community Hospital for a precautionary check-up.
Charles Everson said he didn’t see the cow falling and didn’t know what happened until afterward. He said he kept repeating: “I don’t believe this. I don’t believe this.”
