A Detroit-area restaurant created the mother of all hamburgers with the hopes of making the Guinness Book of World Records.
The “Absolutely Ridiculous Burger”, made with beef, bacon and cheese, is served on a 50-pound bun and takes 12 hours to prepare.
A lot of love went into making the 134-pound burger at Mallie’s Sports Bar and Grill. Just flipping it required three men using two steel sheets.
Best of all, it could be yours for a mere $350 as long as it’s ordered with 24 hours notice.
Owner Steve Mallie told media he wanted to show that he has the biggest and best burgers.
But it could be a few weeks before Mallie finds out if he is indeed a record-breaker. His burger would outweigh the 123-pound burger made last year by Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub, of Clearfield, Pa.
