Cause Of Fatal Halton Crash Unknown

Halton Police are looking for the cause of a crash that killed one and left two others in hospital.
Two vehicles collided halfway between the 5th and 10th Sideroads in Halton Hills at about 9:30pm Sunday.
Investigators were probing circumstances of the crash.
“One male passenger of one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene. The female driver of that vehicle (was) transported to Georgetown Hospital and subsequently airlifted to St. Mike’s Hospital in Toronto for treatment,” explained Sgt. Robert Andrew of Halton Regional Police.
A woman in the second vehicle was taken to Georgetown Hospital with undisclosed injuries. The current conditions of both women are unknown.
No names or ages have been released.
9th Line was closed off for a time north of the 5th Sideroad, but police have since reopened the area.
