BT Hoisted High As Kevin And Dina Stare Down From Yonge And Dundas

If you head downtown and feel like the eyes of Kevin Frankish are staring at you, you’re not imagining things.  He’s actually gazing at you from on high. And so is Dina Pugliese.

They’re both beaming from a banner hoisted high at Yonge and Dundas Square, on top of the new Citytv building that will be the headquarters of not only Toronto’s most famous TV station but sister broadcasters OMNI and The Fan 590.

The former Olympic Spirit building is being transformed into a state of the art high definition television broadcasting production complex unique in North America. And while the Breakfast Television crew did a one-day show from the new digs earlier this year, this is the first time Kevin and Dina had this kind of view.

The 43,000-square foot facility is expected to be ready to power up BT, CityNews, CityLine and a host of other special shows next March, when the station leaves its longtime Queen St. W. home and brings the centre of the City to the centre of the city.
