School Stabbing Sends Student To Hospital

One young man is in hospital following a violent attack at a downtown high school.
The 17-year-old was apparently on the basketball court at Parkdale Collegiate when he was swarmed by up to 20 other people. He was stabbed four to five times in the torso and leg. Police don’t know if the attackers attended the school.
What’s even more frightening, the teen limped home after the assault. It appears no one at the school notified authorities and it was his shaken mother who called police.
He’s now in hospital in stable condition. The attack happened just before noon Friday.
