Safety Alert Issued For Bathurst Street/St Clair Area

Police have issued a safety alert for a west end neighborhood after a woman was approached late Wednesday night.
The woman was walking in an alleyway in the Bathurst and St Clair West area around 9:45pm when she was approached by a male.
He moved towards her, but luckily, she was able to get away. The suspect then fled, heading south on Bathurst.
She believes she was followed for a short time before the suspect made his attempt to attack. His motive is unknown.
The suspect is described as:
- light-black complexion
- 16
- wide-bridged nose
- 5’8″
- 170 – 180 lbs.
- wearing baggy blue jeans and a faded, dark, hooded sweater.
