StreetBeat – Nov. 10 – Pedestrian Hit By Car Trying To Avoid Robbery

A pedestrian fortunately received only minor injuries after being struck by a car. It appears the victim was trying to avoid a robbery when he was hit near the intersection of Progress Ave. and Kennedy Rd.

The victim was taken to hospital to be checked out as a precaution. There’s no word on whether police have any suspects in mind.
