Fire Breaks Out At Highrise In East End

Fire broke out Wednesday morning at an east end highrise.
It’s not clear what caused the blaze, but at one point flames and smoke could be seen shooting out of the 14th floor at 10 Gordonridge Place in the Danforth and Midland area.
There’s no word on whether there were any injuries, but buses were apparently being called in to shelter affected residents.
Fortunately it appeared the blaze was brought under control relatively quickly by Toronto Fire.
