StreetBeat – May 9 – Head-On Crash At Bayview And Sheppard

A serious head-on crash at Bayview and Sheppard avenues on Saturday morning could be the result of a driver falling asleep at the wheel.

The collision happened in the southbound lanes just north of the intersection.

There was massive damage to the two cars involved. One woman was taken to hospital. Everyone else shaken up but otherwise okay.

The driver of the other car admitted he may have dozed off behind the wheel.
