Would-Be Robber Needs Rescuing After Getting Stuck In A Hole

A would-be robber won’t be getting any points for technique.

The alleged bandit needed to be rescued by firefighters after he got stuck in a hole on Bloor St just east of Ossington Ave.

He was trapped upside down for about six hours after allegedly trying to break in to a restaurant.

It appears the accused thief tried to enter through the basement window (below) – but the owner arrived on scene around 6am and quickly called the cops.

While he didn’t get into the eatery, he has a free ride to a few more places: the hospital, and the police station.
