StreetBeat – Jun. 12 – Shotgun Recovered In Alleged Carjacking

The hunt is on for a pair of suspects after an alleged east-end carjacking which turned up a shotgun.
Police stopped a car near Warden and Sheppard Aves. after the driver tried to dodge a RIDE spot check. Two men bolted from the vehicle, leaving behind a woman and the gun.
The woman says she was held up at gunpoint near Kennedy and Finch. She was not hurt.
All Hands Safe
There were no injuries after a school bus crashed into a car on the Don Valley Parkway near Dundas around 10am Friday morning. The car slammed into a concrete barrier, hard enough to deploy the airbags. Luckily, everyone in both vehicles made it out safely, including several of the children on board.
