Disney World Employee Dead In Magic Kingdom Monorail Crash

An employee at Walt Disney World is dead after two monorail trains collided at the Magic Kingdom.

The crash happened around 2am on Sunday, killing the operator of one of the vehicles. No guests were seriously injured.

The public affairs department offered condolences to the victim’s family. The victim has not been identified.

Train service at the Orlando theme park has been shut down.

According to a local television station, CFNews 13, it was the first fatal accident in the monorail system’s nearly 38-year history.
