Trio Who Disappeared After Friend’s Murder Still Missing, Three Years Later

Three teens who disappeared after their friend was murdered are still missing, three years after the body of Philip Sit was found in a wooded area in York Region.

Yee Wah ‘Eve’ Ho (pictured), her boyfriend Jackie Li and Kevin Lim simply vanished following the August 2006 discovery.

Sit had been missing since September 2005.

However, officers say that the trio is not considered suspects.

On Friday, Toronto Police released a series of video appeals for any information in the case.

Back in 2007, Cst. Scott Mills admitted investigators were stymied.

“We’ve either got foul play, or I would like to look on the hopeful side that, for one reason or another, they’re scared, they’re hiding.

“We don’t know.”

Ho, who was 17 at the time of her disappearance, last spoke to her best friend when the two arranged to meet up at the Eaton Centre. Eva never showed up for the meeting.

Li, also 17 at the time, was last seen by his mother when she left their Scarborough apartment to go to work in the morning. He spoke to his mom on the phone later that day. That was the last she heard of him.

Lim, 18, was last seen at his Scarborough home by his grandmother. He told her he was going to the store to buy a drink.
