Police are on the hunt for a Toronto man they believe was forced off the road and abducted by gunpoint while driving through Scarborough on Saturday.
At about 3:30pm, 22-year-old Furqan Muhammad-Haroon was driving his van near Midland Ave. and Ellesmere Rd. when officers say three men, one armed with a gun, forced him off the road and took him from his vehicle.
Soon after, police found Muhammad-Haroon’s green 2003 Mazda MPV van, but the victim remains missing.
He is described as brown, 5’10”, 181 lbs., with black eyes, short wavy black hair, a beard with no mustache and wearing eye glasses. He was last seen wearing a blue, long-sleeved crew neck shirt and dark blue jeans.
