One year after an explosion rocked a north Toronto neighbourhood, more charges are in store for Sunrise Propane.
The latest accusations come from the Ontario Ministry of the Environment.
The seven new allegations are all related to failing to comply with requirements of a provincial order such as carrying out cleanup work.
Two directors have also been charged with failing to take all reasonable care to prevent the corporation from contravening a provincial order.
The Ontario Ministry of Labour has also filed charges against the company.
It’s expected that the provincial Fire Marshal’s Office will also be laying charges.
