Brampton Man Shot Dead At House Party

A house party in Brampton turned violent early Friday morning, resulting in the death of a 33-year-old man.
Bullets flew at the home on Castlehill Drive around 4am, but it’s not known what sparked the shooting.
Police arrived a short time later in response to reports of a disturbance, finding the victim – Devinder Singh Gill – suffering from obvious trauma. He was rushed to hospital where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
Two men were seen running from the home and Peel Police are investigating. The homicide is Peel’s 15th of 2009.
