If you’ve taken a look at a subway map recently you may have noticed a few things were wrong.
Mistakes including misspelling Gardiner without the “i” and attaching an apostrophe to Eaton Centre are among the issues with several maps including one at St. Andrew Station which doesn’t include the CN Tower or Rogers Centre.
“Things like special landmarks, spelling mistakes, those things should not have happened,” admitted TTC spokesperson Brad Ross. “I have no explanation as to why they should happen … we’re going to replace the maps.”
The TTC promises to have corrected versions in all stations by the end of October.
