A once-packed restaurant remains closed following two failed inspections by Toronto Public Health.
Ruby Chinese was shut down last week following a salmonella outbreak.
Inspectors have been back since, but there’s no sign of improvement.
The popular eatery on Sandhurst Circle was shuttered on October 7 after 37 people became ill after eating there.
Salmonella has been confirmed in 22 cases and is suspected in 15 others, including an elderly man who died of dehydration after a severe case of diarrhea.
The restaurant owners told city officials that the long weekend made it difficult to get a pest control company in to clean.
