427 Southbound Closed Due To Tractor-Trailer Rollover

Police are advising motorists to avoid a west-end highway after a tractor-trailer flipped on its side Thursday morning.

It happened just before 6am on the ramp from the southbound 427 collector lanes to Browns Line.

No one was injured in the incident. But crews blocked all southbound lanes for much of the day as they cleaned up the load of heavy, steel coils.

The OPP is investigating but believe an unsecured load may have caused the crash.
