Man hit while changing tire

A man was rushed to hospital after he was struck by something while changing a tire, Friday.

It happened on the eastbound Hwy. 401 ramp onto Hwy. 427 northbound.

The man, who is in is 40s, reportedly pulled over to the side of the highway to change a tire when something struck him and he fell over and down an embankment.

According to CityNews, the man fell about 30 feet.

At this point, there is no word on how serious his injuries are.
