Fatal crash in Richmond Hill closes Bayview, Elgin Mills

A serious collision in Richmond Hill left one person dead, Monday.

A jeep crashed into a transport truck and actually went underneath the trailer, York Regional Police told 680News.

Bayview Ave., between Shirley and Neal drives, and Elgin Mills Rd., between Megarry Ct. and Crosby Ave., were off-limits to motorists for several hours as police investigated.
