Sarandon & Robbins Split After 23 Years

A Hollywood couple that seemed to defy the odds with a 23-year partnership has split.
Susan Sarandon, 63, and Tim Robbins, 51, who met while shooting the 1988 comedy “Bull Durham” announced this week that they ended their relationship this summer.
The pair never married and has two children.
A publicist for the Oscar winning actors released a statement about the split Wednesday, but didn’t elaborate as to why the long-standing relationship ended.
Sarandon stars in “The Lovely Bones” slated to open next month.
