Arrest Made In Oshawa Murder

An arrest has been made in the murder of an Oshawa woman.
Tammy Lewis, 29, was found dead on December 28. Initially, her death was deemed suspicious, but Durham Regional Police later said it was a homicide.
A man who lives on the same street as the victim is now in custody.
Last month, emergency crews responded to a 911 call and found Lewis inside her home on Graburn Avenue.
A 30-year-old man was also inside the home.
Shawn Pegg, 30, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with Second Degree Murder.
Lewis’ death marked Durham Region’s sixth homicide of 2009.
