McGuinty considering online gambling

Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty is opening the door to allowing internet gambling in Ontario.
“I think that we’ve got to make a call on that, obviously and I think it’s something that’s happening. The issue is whether or not we should be involved in that. I think that we’ll have to make a call on that, it’s something we can’t avoid,” McGuinty said.
The Ontario Lottery Gaming Corporation wants the province to get into online gaming instead of watching potential revenues go to other provinces and offshore websites.
Quebec has announced plans to join the B.C. and Atlantic lottery corporations in allowing online gambling.
