Firefighter Hurt In West End Blaze

A firefighter was rushed to hospital after a two-alarm fire Monday night.

Crews were called to a home on Richardson Avenue in the Keele and Eglinton area just after 8pm. One resident in the home was taken to hospital in serious condition after suffering smoke inhalation.

The firefighter was hurt by falling debris in the house.

Luckily his injuries are not considered serious.

There’s no word yet on what caused the blaze.
