Arrest Made In Connection With Corey Haim’s Death

An arrest has been made in connection with an investigation into the death of Toronto-born actor Corey Haim, 38, in what’s being called a massive illegal prescription drug ring.
Attorney General Jerry Brown did not divulge details of the arrest, but his office has revealed pharmacy records show Haim received thousands of precription pills from dozens of doctors in the past year.
Haim died March 10, in Los Angeles. Los Angeles Police said his death appeared to be accidental, and may have been an overdose but no drugs were found at the scene.
The coroner’s preliminary findings was that he died of pulmonary congestion and was suffering from an enlarged heart and water in the lungs.
Haim was laid to rest yesterday in Toronto at Steeles Memorial Chapel. Haim’s friend and “Lost Boys” co-star Corey Feldman says he is planning a memorial in Los Angeles next month.
