Cops Targeted “Pump Bandits” In Raids This Week

Authorities released the names of two men arrested in a series of raids this week targeting the so-called Pump Bandits.
An officer was injured Thursday morning while executing a search warrant in the Weston Road and Eglinton area. That was one of three raids targeting the Pump Gang – bandits who are alleged to carry out violent robberies toting a pump shotgun.
An elderly man has been in hospital since February after he and his wife were injured in a jewellery store heist in the Eglinton and Caledonia area. Authorities said they were badly beaten during the robbery.
Two suspects were taken into custody Thursday morning on Gosford Boulevard, near Jane and Steeles.
Investigators are looking into other retail robberies for any connections to the alleged gang.
Kemuel Joseph, 25, and Revnel Charles, 19, are facing a number of charges, including armed robbery and forcible confinement.
Police are still searching for 20-year-old Tyson Joseph on 10 counts of robbery. Authorities believe he may be in St. Lucia.
