Police Search For Kidnapping Suspects

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in locating three suspects wanted in an abduction investigation.
Police say that on Tuesday, April 12, a man was abducted from the Jane St. and Wilson Ave. area and driven to Hamilton.
The man was held overnight, tortured, beaten and burned. The suspects contacted his friends and family demanding ransom money in exchange for his release.
The friends and family contacted Toronto Police, and an investigation began. The victim was released back to the Avenue Rd. and Wilson Ave. area , without a ransom being paid.
He is a part-time courier and tells police he doesn’t know why he was targeted, because his family does not have the kind of money his captors were demanding.
The next day, police arrested two suspects, Jeffrey Glover, 30, of Toronto and Olewale Opeyemi, 38, of Brampton were arrested.
Police are still looking for three suspects, Dane Dillon, 25, of Toronto, Prince Ashley Lewers, 25, of Hamilton, and Teri Dane Broomfield, 24, of Hamilton. They are wanted for:
- Kidnapping
- Aggravated assault
- Forcible confinement
- Assault with a weapon
- Threatening death (two counts)
Police are also looking for a 1994 Acura Integra two-door, black, with Ontario license plate BHMN 972.
