Buble Wins Big At The Junos

Michael Buble was the big winner at the Juno Awards Sunday night, picking up four trophies, including one for album of the year.
The 34-year-old also picked up the pop album of the year trophy for “Crazy Love”, won single of the year for “Haven’t Met You Yet” and was the fan choice.
Drake and K’naan picked up most of the remaining statues at the 39th edition of the awards, held in St. John’s N.L. Drake picked up the award for best rap recording and best new artist. K’naan won songwriter of the year and artist of the year.
Toronto indie darling Metric was named group of the year and its latest offering, “Fantasies”, received the best alternative album of the year nod.
Billy Talent won for rock album of the year.
All of the multi-winners performed at the televised gala. Teen sensation Justin Bieber also hit the stage but didn’t walk out with any hardware. The 16-year-old was nominated in three categories.
And Bryan Adams accepted his Allan Waters Humanitarian Award from London. The singer was stuck in Britain because of the volcanic ash cloud that has grounded thousands of flights.
April Wine was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame.
