Second town hall-style meeting held by TTC union

TORONTO, Ont. – About 200 TTC passengers attended the second of three union-sponsored public meetings designed to improve relations between workers and commuters.

Many people complained about rude workers and dirty subway stations.

One passenger drew applause when she called for the firing of TTC chair Adam Giambrone, who was at the meeting listening to the complaints.

Giambrone already said he will not run for re-election this fall, so this will be his final term as chair of the TTC.

The third and final public meeting will be held on May 2 at the Ryerson University library.
