One person pulled from vehicle in Lake Ontario

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – One man was pulled from a car in Lake Ontario, Monday evening.
Peel Regional Police told 680News, officers got the call at 10:20 p.m. with reports of a vehicle in the water at Lakeshore Road and Stavebank Road.
One man was pulled from the vehicle and rushed to hospital in critical condition, his age and current health status is not known.
Police say the vehicle is now fully submerged in the Credit River, at the mouth of Lake Ontario.
Marine Unit divers are in the water trying to determine if there are any other occupants in the vehicle.
Peel police are canvassing the area for any witnesses who may help determine what happened.
