Toronto police probe three separate shootings

TORONTO, Ont. – A violent start to the weekend after police were left to investigate three separate shootings across the city, Friday.
The first shooting happened at around 7 p.m. in North York.
In that case an 18-year-old was shot in the thigh in the Weston Road and highway 401 area. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
About an hour later, police were called to the scene of a double shooting at a hair salon in the city’s south, west-end.
It happened at approximately 8 p.m. in the Lakeshore Boulevard and Royal York Road area.
One victim was reportedly shot multiple times, while the other was grazed by bullets. Both were said to be in stable condition.
The third shooting incident occurred in the Markham Road and Lawrence Avenue area of Scarborough, where someone was reportedly shot in the arm.
Police are on the hunt for suspects in all three cases.
