Protest area for G20 will move, not at Trinity-Bellwoods

The protest area for next month’s G20 summit will not be at Trinity-Bellwoods Park after all.

Police said they have met with community and are now looking for an alternate location for the so-called “designated speech area.”

The move comes after residents voiced outrage over the plan to bring protesters to their neighborhood.
